About
The Festival of Trees and Trains is the largest annual fundraiser of the Paramount Woman’s Association. The event was created to support the Education Department of the Paramount Arts Center, which provides an enriching, creative and theatrical outlet for our community.
The ingenious women of the Paramount Woman’s Association found the perfect way to raise funds for the Paramount AND give the community an ideal family event. The ten day Festival brings “Cocoa with Santa”, the "Railway”, the “Marquee Tree of Lights', local choirs and entertainers, two holiday gift shops, a Cafe, holiday decor and of course, the trees!
Regardless if you are one of the hundreds of decorators, hundreds of volunteers, or thousands of visitors - you will find that Festival of Trees and Trains is much more than a display of holiday decor. Imagine the community fellowship during our five day set-up, the pleasure of being with your family and friends as you listen to local performers or watching your child dance on stage midst the fantastic holiday trees, beside the awesome holiday train layout, within the historic Paramount Arts Center.
So many people look forward to the event, speaking of the family tradition and telling the stories of "one year at the Festival when…". The Festival has been a part of us all for 35 years, crossing generations and making memories that will last a lifetime. Perhaps this is what makes the Festival so valuable to our community. We invite you to join us for this most spectacular holiday event, during the week surrounding Thanksgiving.
